The 16th International Conference of the Association for Linguistic Typology, organized by the research unit “Dynamique Du Langage”, will be held at Université Lumière Lyon 2 (Lyon, France) on 1st–3rd July (Wednesday-Friday), 2026. Here we invite proposals for organized workshops, which will take place in parallel with general sessions on each of the three days of the conference. Proposals may address any topic of interest to the ALT community, including issues of regional interest, particular linguistic phenomena, and methodological developments Accepted workshops will be publicly announced with the general ALT 2026 call for oral presentations and posters, which will go out in June 2025. For each workshop, approximately one-third of the slots should be filled by abstracts solicited through the open call. Abstracts submitted for workshops that get sufficiently good reviews but cannot be included in the workshop for lack of time will be retained for general sessions.
